mungkin langkah yang aman yang perlu dilakukan adalah

* Instalasi Ubuntu Mate seperti biasa
* Jangan reboot dulu
* Mount / 
* Buat username & password anda sebagai user liveusb
* Edit /etc/sudoers agar username jadi sudo
* Copy /etc ke etc di /dev/sda1
