memcached is a high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web applications by alleviating database load.

Cara instalasi-nya adalah sbb,
# apt-get install memcached
Contoh menjalankan memcached
# ./memcached -d -m 2048 -l 192.168.0.2 -p 11211
